Boomer

The Boomer is one of the special infected. They are bloated zombies. Boomers will throw up bile all over you if you get too close to them. They can also hit you with their hands. When Boomer bile gets on you, other zombies will be attracted to the bile and attack you. If you shoot a Boomer to close to your character, it will explode and bile will cover your character. Boomers are sort of slow. You can outrun them.

Smokers

Smokers are another of the special infected. Smokers have a very long tongue. A smokers tongue can shoot out and wrap around a survivor. The smoker must be killed for the survivor to escape the tongue. Smokers use their hands to hit you with. Their tongues prevent you from doing anything. If you kill a smoker it will explode into smoke. That is where it gets its name.
